Console and manual commands

Type one supported controller command, inspect replies and recall previous entries.

Step by step

  1. Open Expert layout or the Diagnostics workspace and select Console. Drag its divider or maximise the panel if you want more room.
  2. Type ? and press Enter or Send to request status. Open Supported commands for clickable examples; clicking an example only fills the input.
  3. The installed app supports $I, $$, $#, $G and $Spindle readbacks; $H and $X for home/unlock; one-axis $J=G21 G91 X-1 F300 jogs; M3 S12000 and M5 for the spindle. Choose the actual axis, direction, distance, feed and RPM deliberately.
  4. Native commands use the existing reviewed machine setup and controller ownership. A job, held job or guided workflow blocks manual changes. Home, position trust, inputs, spindle state, travel and rate checks still apply.
  5. Read RX for controller replies and errors. Submitted means dispatched, not finished. Use the current position and machine state to check completion.
  6. Use the Up/Down arrows or History to recall one of the last 50 submitted commands. Recall never executes. Clear view only clears displayed traffic; Supported commands includes Clear command history.
