Pause, Software Stop and physical E-stop

Choose the control appropriate to the machine state.

Step by step

1. PAUSE requests a controlled hold. Wait for the reported state; the machine may still be decelerating.
2. RESUME JOB is a separate decision when a valid held job permits it. Confirm the work area is clear first.
3. SOFTWARE STOP cancels or interrupts the owned workflow. Expect fresh review or Recovery before continuing.
4. Use the physical emergency stop for an emergency. The always-visible red software button depends on the application and controller link.
5. At an operator pause, read the programme's message and spindle state before approaching the tool.
