Licence modelFreePerpetual licence proposed
Will I need a subscription to keep using a machine?

The proposed Pro model is a perpetual desktop licence with 12 months of feature updates and optional renewal. Final terms are still being developed. Website availability and update entitlements must never interrupt an active job.

Does evaluation mean the software is signed off for production?

No. Sustained reliability acceptance and physical-machine commissioning remain incomplete. The downloads page explains the current release scope.

Are existing features already restricted to Pro?

No. This page describes a proposed commercial split. The current evaluation installers have not gained paid licensing or these edition restrictions.
