Supervised tool changes
Follow the owned tool-change workflow instead of continuing from remembered tool lengths.
Step by step
- Review the tool plan and required cutter dimensions before starting a multi-tool job.
- When the job reaches its tool-change stage, open the tool-change controls. Wait for the workflow's verified stopped state.
- Fit the requested cutter and complete the current measurement/reference steps. Do not reuse an old measurement after changing the tool.
- Review the updated compensation and remaining route, then explicitly continue when the workflow offers it.
- If the fixed setter or measured-tool-change capability is unavailable, use the supported manual setup route or split the CAM job as required.
