Place the work on the 3D machine
Understand job coordinates, machine placement and preview estimates.
Step by step
- Use JOB to inspect the unplaced toolpath, and MACHINE when a work datum or checked machine path is available.
- Carve on machine uses the selected saved datum, a reported datum, or an explicitly labelled centred preview estimate when neither exists.
- The stock, route and cutter share the same datum translation. Stock & datum edits the location of job X0 Y0 Z0 in machine coordinates.
- Changing only datum position retains the current carving; changing stock or cutter dimensions resets it.
- Use Layers for the route, stock, tool, machine and configured fixtures. Focus stock views the work from above and behind.
